**Call for Nominations:

Naseem Somani Memorial Leadership Excellence Award**

The Brampton Board of Trade is honoured to present the Naseem Somani Memorial Leadership Excellence Award, presented by Dynacare, at the 2026 inspiHER Gala on March 5, 2026. This award celebrates the legacy of Naseem Somani, former CEO of Dynacare, a visionary, collaborative, and compassionate leader whose impact on Canada’s business and healthcare sectors continues to inspire.

Created to recognize and uplift women’s leadership, the award honours a woman who:

  • Lives, works, or has made a significant impact in the Brampton community
  • Demonstrates exceptional leadership, innovation, and service
  • Actively mentors, champions, or uplifts other women
  • Embodies Naseem’s values of integrity, compassion, collaboration, and excellence

The 2026 recipient will be formally recognized on stage at the inspiHER Gala in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The 2025 inspiHER Gala was a sold-out celebration of women’s achievements, leadership, and creativity in honour of International Women’s Day. Guests were moved by powerful stories during the “Accelerating Growth Through Action” speaker series, inspired by the presentation of the Naseem Somani Memorial Leadership Excellence Award, and immersed in the vibrant works of local female artists. This impactful evening wasn’t just about inspiration, it sparked real change through the Soles4Souls campaign, which collected thousands of shoes to support women, children, and sustainability efforts around the globe.
