Brampton Connect — Celebrating Inclusion and Opportunity

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the strengths, talents, and contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities, and to highlight the important role communities and workplaces play in creating spaces where everyone can thrive.

For this session, we’re partnering with Hope Endoors and The CHANCE Centre, two Brampton-based organizations empowering neurodivergent and underserved young adults through employment training, creative production, and essential life skills. Their work bridges the gap between talent and opportunity, showing how inclusive practices can strengthen teams, culture, and outcomes.

Event Highlights:

• Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Skill Building Studio, where young adults grow job skills, digital literacy, independence, and confidence.
• Explore workstations, see equipment in action, and make a small creation to take home.
• Visit the Hope Endoors space to see how young adults practice everyday living skills, strengthen social communication, and build habits that help them thrive at work and in the community.
• Learn about supports for employers interested in inclusive hiring, from coaching and workplace assessments to guidance on building accessible environments.
